Artist Statement
I work primarily with prismacolor pencils, creating detailed drawings that place animals within fantastical and celestial environments. My commissioned work often takes the form of memorial pet portraits, while my personal pieces explore imagined worlds filled with galaxies, symbolism, and intuitive collage-like compositions.
For much of my life, I resisted the idea of becoming an artist, unsure if I was allowed to fully claim that role. Returning to art has been both a healing and grounding practice. Through sustained focus and repetition, drawing becomes a space of stillness—one where thought quiets and intuition leads.
My work reflects a belief that all living beings are deeply connected across time and space. By blending the familiar with the otherworldly, I hope to create images that feel both comforting and expansive, offering viewers a reminder that we, the animals, and the universe itself are made of the same stardust.

Artist Bio
I create prismacolor drawings that bring animals into fantastical, celestial worlds. My work ranges from commissioned pet portraits—often created as memorials honoring beloved companions—to personal pieces inspired by visions, galaxies, and the unseen connections between all living things.
For many years, I resisted the call to be an artist, unsure if I was allowed to claim that identity. Embracing it now has been an act of courage and honesty. Through my work, I hope to offer a sense of wonder and recognition—a reminder that we, the animals, and the universe itself are all sparks of the same stardust, connected across time, space, and experience.
